A beautiful vintage rug hand made in the Rehamna central plains east of Marrakech, Morocco. Rugs from this region are usually made warm earthy hues such as ochre and soft reds, colors that reflect the local environment.

This vintage is a deep ochre and soft red base with lilac, sage, and gold tribal motifs. Borders and tassels are finished with natural dark brown goat's hair. Low pile natural hand spun wool with traditional tribal symbols in the design.

A elegantly aged patina. Showing areas of color fade and wear, the sturdy tight weave has allowed this rug to age with grace.

Light weight, and smaller size makes it perfect for apartments, bedrooms, and smaller lounge areas.
