Handwoven in the Moroccan region of Boujad, a widespread area between the Middle Atlas and the Atlantic coast. Carpets from this area are known for their rich colors, many pattern combinations, and few traditional rules.
This vintage features a central chain of abstract lozenges. Variegated shades of purple, violet, amethyst, lilac, lavender, salmon, chocolate brown, ecru, ivory, taupe, saffron, green, and blue. Finished with a dark border and colorful tassels on one end.
This is perfect for wider corridors or hallways, where it could be used as a runner. It could also work in an entranceway, kitchen, or in a lounge area.
