An old vintage rug woven by the Zemmour tribe, in

Middle Atlas region of Morocco. Zemmour tribes are known for their unique geometric designs and abstract imagery, often woven in red hues.

This stunning beauty is a rich raspberry color packed with many intricate motifs that expertly blend into one another. A rug like this was woven by a master weaver, with many years of experience. The back of this rug is almost as good as the front. One or two visible restorations, which is not uncommon for a 50-60 year old carpet.

Low pile, densely woven wool. Excellent for higher traffic areas or lounges. Would also suit a bedroom area.
