Hand sourced from Uzbekistan. Traditional Uzbek chapan robes can be compared to a work of art. Traditionally worn by men, these robes are often lined with cotton and their exterior layers are usually made with the most luxurious fabrics - velvet or silk.
The outer layer of this Duster is a silk and cotton blend, which creates an almost iridescent golden yellow in sunlight. Inner lining is a red floral cotton fabric. Inner trim is ikat fabric.
This duster is quilted, giving an added layer of warm.
This duster is an old vintage piece, easily dating back several decades. It is hand stitched with high quality silk and cotton fabric, and has details that are rarely seen in today's pieces. For more on vintage pieces click here
